I've bought a Vectra GL to reduce insurance and fuel costs thus rendering my Vectra SRi 2.2 redundant.
The engine has been fully rebuilt in October last year following the typical cam chain failure. The job was done professionally carrying a years warranty, running out October this year (paper work to accompany). The engine has seen about 8k miles since the rebuild and needs a new home!
Currently the engine is still in the car.
I may advertise the car for sale as a whole, it has no MOT or TAX at present as its been off the road for 4 months. The only thing needed to get through an MOT would be 2 replacement suspension springs as these failed last time and I havent had the work carried out. It does however drive perfectly fine (I wasnt aware of any suspension issues untill the MOT !)
Im selling the engine for £800, or alternativly the car as a whole for £1200.
