my g/f's cat broke its leg as a result of playing chicken with a car, i wasn't insured so it cost me £1k, shattered in 6 places with a titanium plate on the top part of it's leg, my other cat that i have had for the good part of 9 years has not cost me anything apart from the odd puncture wound
they are both insured now but the one i call trigger must have cost me around £1500 so far and it is only 4 years old
i reckon 2 bricks is the cheapest and easiest way imo
