goyzynat hi, i have a 2.0 mk4 astra and i am about to change it to a 2.0 turbo but i do not know if the key is linked to the ecu or is it linked to something else can any1 help? Thanks
JohnnyN Yes mate. The transponder in the key is code linked. There's no reason why you can't have it recoded though but you would somehow have to get the car to the dealer for coding.
