Engine Noise

Hi guys, i think its me being paranoid but do you notice a metal kinda noise from under your car when under load ?

ive just had my chain replaced and shes runnning sweet as a nut and have had a oil and filter change (5W 40) oil. i have a remus and magnex back box.

i have checked my manifold and flexi which seem fine and both under 12 months old.

i get it when i put it up a gear too early and put my foot down...you know what i mean? (under load)

sounds like could be clutch bearing

Is there anything obviously loose in the engine bay / under the car? If you gear up too early, and the engine is labouring a little too much, it could be causing something to move about at bit too much

it sounds like my flexi is blowin... someone told me that its the hydrolic lifters having to work harder, theres no rattling noise, just sounds like something is blowin under the car but not if you know what i mean...my old orion used to "pinkin" when under labour... thats the best describition.

it doesnt do it when engine is cold.
