Wiswion cpwfos said: have you got them on yours wiswion anny good? they are cheaper than mine but the postage from over there is usually really high and ends up doubling the amount waiting on tester's judgement... i need to replace mine too lol...
cpwfos been out and about in it now and it feels so much better much more solid at the front and turning fast plus that stupid knocking noise has gone hurray 🙂
cpwfos had to spray them blue first though they were gold originally theres a before pic on page 2 i hung them on the washin line my mrs went mad 🙂
cpwfos had a daft knocking noise when goin over any bumpy ground due to the wear on the old link arms now thankfully this has been eradicated
cpwfos just out of interest has anyone else got the yellow suspension on there coupe as pictured above its got red springs aswell i bought the car with them on and dont know wether they are standard although i parked next to another coupe yesterday and mine was much lower so it got me wondering wether this suspension was offered as an option when it was first sold notsure.gif
cpwfos cool saved some dough on that then i always thought it looked lowered but had the car 2.5 years now and never told insurance about them coz wasnt sure should i sat summat notsure.gif
Matt I would, as they won't pay out in the event of an accident if you don't tell them about it. What company are you with? Chris Knott didn't charge me any extra for having the Bilstein Shocks and Eibach Springs fitted.
Martyn what if say for instance he never knew about the suspension and something happened. would they not pay out?
cpwfos im with e-sure they caharged me extra for the headlights ive got and i also told them of the bigger wheels which i pay extra for and the induction kit chris knott wont insure me because of my postcode its m20 so ill have a look at adrian flux im not sure what id tell the insurance company though what do i say i think it might be lowered or ithink it might have after market suspension on it they could pretty much make up a number and rip me off i dont know how many mms its lowered or anythin notsure.gif
Martyn what a shitta we get get wank quotes because of were we live m8 as for telling your insurance id just say you have just had them fitted because they might charge you for the length uve had the insurance if u say they have been on since buying the car. however they might not
sdbutler10 adrian flux dont chage you extra for visual mods only performance. so lowering and alloys body kiots ect ect no extra cost but an induction kit would cost more
cpwfos sound it should be cheaper then e-sure asked for an extra 5o quid just for the angel eyes and 50 for the 18s so thats a ton saved straight away
JohnnyN Just be warned, I have enquired about suspension mods on previous cars and most insurance companies just won't insure you. They will cancel the insurance or just increase the premium. On the other hand you could be lucky.
