densil can anyone post a video of a standard 2.2 exhaust system so i can compare the sound to that of mine as there doesnt seem to be any sound coming from mine even under load.i suspect that there is a blockage but a video of what it should sound like would help also does anyone know if it is possible for me to do away with the centre silencer on my car or is it needed manythanks hope someone can help
Matt The standard exhaust should be fairly quiet, that is what they are designed for. Does yours have the twin back boxes fitted? Can you feel gas coming out of each side?
densil hi mate no twin backbox and yes i can feel a little bit of gases escaping but it feels really sluggish also i can hear the exhaust from middle of car instead or rear
densil its not got any black deposits on it and ive felt around for a blow on tick over but cant feel nothing its only when your moving and put your foot down
