I got a gunson timing light with advance control.
I attached it to one of the wires going into the coil pack.. it works but it shows a much too large advance
I'm pretty sure it's not meant to work with the input to the coil pack, but the actual wire going from the coil to the spark plug (inaccessable in our case)
Has anyone successfully used a timing light with our coil pack?
I think the advance showing might be really high because of the dwell time (signal coming through the cable so many milliseconds earlier than the actual spark)
