Sjdickso http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Range-Rover-SPORT ... tsupported I am not sure i would trust putting it to my paintwork but if it did work and didnt damage the paint. dunno..
Matt I've got the same reservations as you Si, I'd not be 100% happy having that spinning away against the paint work. If it works though, it's a great little tool, as you know, it took frigging ages to remove the SXI from my old Astra.
Sjdickso Removing that glue from the backing stuff is a real pain even with heat CCard or fishing wire. Surley that tool would mark the paint work? I wonder if anyone has tried on DW. If it was safe and didnt mark then it may be a investment, not that i do that much badge removal.
Matt Can't find anything about that tool on DW. Recommened way is soak with tardis and use fishing line
dodger i wouldn't trust it Si, i would still use a hairdrier and fishing wire and to remove the glue use meths or IPA, thats what i have done in the past without hardly any effort
Sjdickso Cheers for looking guys. sdbutler10 said: we use them in our body shop and they work a treat, Are they super soft rubber then?
blue_se2 same here when my dad used to do insurance body work we had one they do work The one we had wan't that soft and they can leave burn marks on the paint if you are not careful
rushy Any tar remover shifts the sticky stuff. The hardest part is the shadow it leaves behind and that can only be polished out.
