I am from Slovakia and my English is not very well but I will try to show my problem. So I have Opel Vectra B 12/2001 2.2 16v (Z22SE :wink: ) and last month I start my car like all others days before but sound of engine was terrible. It was like diesel really noisy. I drove by car for one week because I must for work and then I was with servisman. He said that sound is going from divorce of chain (I dont know right expression, sorry) so he had a lot of work and said "will arrive next monday". but to this monday this sound stopped. I was happy and everything was okey. I have gone to the servis and said that stopped, servisman told me that
it could be problem with duct of oil for chain (again I dont know right word). But for 2 last weeks I have this problem again. but only when I start the car engine has that sound, then I will accelerate and then it is okey. I mean that sound lost. but I am afraid of because I know that engines have had problem with chain and Opel has changed it. but when I bought car I asked last owner about this chain and he told that this engine in this car was crashed by this problem. So he had to buy everything new and repair. It is ca 60 000km backward.
So please, help me with this problem, what can be it? And I want to check forum but I dont understand technical word so I must open new topic 😐
