darreng1983 My engine is making a whining noise which increases with the revs. I initially thought it could be alternator but took the fan belt off and its still making this whining. Do these engines whine or is something up with mine? I changed the chain and tensioner a couple of months ago. Cheers
slindborg mine has whined since I got it 3 and a bit years ago... changed the chain and the whine is there, belt off and the whine is there. I've done about 45K o it and had no major probs so tbh I think some do and some dont lol
