Tyres for Vectra C Sri

My car has two diffent kinds of tyres on them. Two the same make on the front and two the same make on the rear. Both my front ones are shot, I need to replace them both. Now do I get the same kind the rears are, or buy something else? My fronts are 17" and they are called Nexen N3000. My rears are Federal Super Steel, size of my tyres are 215-50-ZR17. Also whats the best place to buy tyres from 🙂. Cheers

Previous owner didn't care much for good tyres then? If it were me i'd replace all 4 with some quality tyres. Goodyear, Toyo etc. I have had Falkens on my Cavalier and they were very good also.

I am sure on the recipts that Vauxhall fitted the rear ones for her lol. I might get two good ones this week then two next week then. I will look into those makes above. Cheers 🙂

Lol, thats alot. I could buy two for £200 this week if I wanted. I was looking into more like £80 a tyre?

215/50/17 are the factory tyre, but the alternate in the handbook is 225/45/17. Its only out 2mph at 60 when your dial reads 60 your actually doing 58. The 225 is a more common size so on the whole is a cheaper size to buy.
