What sort of mileage can a M62 charger before it needs a rebuild? Also who in the uk can rebuild these?

Also whats involved in a coupler rebuild???

its a gm part, so should be able to cover a fair few miles

I wasn't aware that it was a short term life span before it needed a rebuild?

I just worry about spending £300 on one thats gonnna need a rebuild soon

What kind of mileage have you done to think about a rebuild? What makes you feel that it needs a rebuild?

Eaton Superchargers are pretty much bombproof, shouldn't need rebuilding for a long time.

Just looking at a few that have done over 40,000 and wondered how much they had left in them

The ones on the mini are pretty similar and generally just get an oil change around 150k. Obviously you'd check the bearings too but they are generally OK. As above, they last a fair while!

Thats the answer i am after. Just worried though as i remember the G40 and G60 charges being eatons and always blowing seals and bearings

The M62 gets used in the merc 230k engines and those things can rack up huge milage
