MikeS at least u still got the bolts for the cam caps 🙂 u reckon a new zaust cam and will it be oki ? or u taking the head off to inspect possible bent valves ?
Daz All springs are sitting level so just goin to whizz a new cam in and hope for the best....Vauxhall said they have had no issues with tis b4...however our local dealer have 3 cams on the shelf...
Daz Came in thursday with said misfire...plugged it in and misfire cyl 4 detected..so ordered in a set of plugs and coil pack,(as they do play up)...parts came friday..duly fitted them and still the same....so upon further investigation the above is what i found....could have been alot worse if the rest of the bolts had worked out too
Matt That's quite surprising really, snapping a cam, and it's got no problems after. Suppose you've told the owner about proper maintenance of a vehicle then Daz??
