paul_allott vectra b 2.2sri symptoms idle a bit uneven a bit slugish car/spanner light comes on and off when it feels like it had codes read came back egr fault. Fitted blanking plate and cheater seems a bit better but car/spanner light still at it and still egr fault coming back on codes Is it possible its an ecu problem or faulty wiring between ecu connector and cheater (have double checked connections to cheater) Any ideas would be a great help.
vocky did you get the codes cleared after fitting the egr cheater ? although the light will go out the code stays in the ecu's memory.
paul_allott would have thought me mate would have done but ya never know i will check im presuming if he hasnt that could cause the light to pop up again Tidy piece of work the cheater
vocky let me know what happens, I can make you a modified egr cheater if it's voltage related, but you need a tech2 to see if thats the problem (that can check the egr signal voltage) it only takes 0.2v to cause a problem !
