it might be a bye bye to the 2.2i have been thinking about a new car for a while now and seen a nice cheap astra turbo for sale.
here the car in question what do you think of it.

also been talking to them and got this info from them as well.
I have full Vauxhall service history up to 50980 miles - Oct.07, have only done 527 miles since then. Mot and tax until end of October.The cam belt was changed when I bought the car in November 05

i know its not the same and when i got my 2.2 it was nothing till i put the time in to it to make it what it is.
already tried for a qoute for a \let to put in mine and would cost 4k since the wiring loom under teh dash is different and it the hardest one to change.
drakey do you really think i would just leave it standard. many plans for it.
i know rob i dont like the spolier either. but i like everything else about it. such as being a 51 plate and only have 51k on clocks. only 2 owners and both women.
it would not take me much to make it a one of a kind one either lol.

i just cant hack the 2.2 any more its just so slow lol you spend ££££ on it and it just do do anything. iv helped the 2.2 owners with the exhaust manifold. so now to find something on the LET which not be done lol

End of the day Scott, it's your money you will be spending. If you aren't happy with the 2.2 anymore, maybe it's time to move on.

Don't think there is much left on the LET which hasn't been done though......so a great engine to mod.

Lol... You've got the Turbo feeling too Scott? I dont blame ya mate. I love my turbo! So glad now i got rid of mine old chianti red 2.2 just the right time really, as i got my asking price. I got my one dirt cheap on eaby. 3 miles from silverstone race track and its a great car 🙂

As we all know ive started spending notes on her week by week to make her my own. Being a 2.0 turbo, I know shes worth spending some money on :thumbup:

the cambelt will need changing (4 years) even though it's done so little mileage 🙁

why don't you fit a diy sc ?

i would like the sc but its still 3k. with this i can sell mine and get the turbo for the same money and this has a lot more potential.
the cam belt kit is cheap tho nothing liek teh chain kit.
