Vectra B flywheel type?

Ive been trying to find the cause of my engine vibration problem.
I took it to a rolling road to just have it run upto speed to get a better idea where the vibration is coming from, but they wouldn't do it saying it has a dual mass flywheel and it wont show up on the rollers.
They were just in a ner ner ner i cant hear you attitude and couldnt be bothered to argue (well, much anyway)

I thought only the vectra 'C's had dual mass, yay or nay?

only late vec C's had the dual mass

you might have a problem with the balancer shafts, not the easiest to re-time either as you need to remove the lower timing chain cover

Thanks, Ill have to do some reading up on them. If anything ill probably try to remove them, unless its damaged the bearings too.
It must vibrate at some speed, its already undone one of my air-conditioning pipes and the airbox nuts.

they rotate at twice the engine speed, so for a 6800rpm limit they are doing 13600 rpm !

vocky, the spare engine I got was from a 2002 C and had the dual mass. Don't think any C has the "normal" flywheel.

the one in my cdti only lasted 31k
