Vauxhall just announced the new BiTurbo Diesel Insignia.
The new 2.0 BiTurbo CDTi delivers 190PS (140kW) and upto 400Nm torque. It features twin turbo technology that eliminates any trace of turbo lag. A smaller, high pressure turbo operating up to 1500rpm, the large turbo charger then coming into action to acheive maximum performance over this level. This is a super-efficient 3rd generation common rail induction with 2,000 bar induction pressure for maximum efficiency.
Just been announced and build will commence Mid-October for manual with auto variants to follow in 2010.
FlexRide is included within the package on all CDTi 190PS models, with the AWD model includes and Electronic-Limited Slip Differential.
The price of the CDTi 190PS is £1650.00 inc VAT above its 160PS equivalent.
The AWD model will be £1500.00 inc VAT above the equivalent FWD 190PS Variant.
CO2 figures will be announced closer to the start of regular production
