grrr starting problem

notsure.gif just when things seem to be going well i now have an intermitant starting problen starter will just spin as if not engaging then when it does its like timing is out it coughs and has back fired once but most of the time its ok starts first turn of the key i have tried 2 differant starter motors and just got a 520amp starting power battary at a cost of £75 but still have the problem when the car start it runs and drives ok

its the ring gear on the fly wheel mate

had the same problem with my vec strater used to zing and not engage
had it took to vx dealers and they said yep defo the starter so had new one fitted

1 week later did it again i never fixed it i just traded the car
