Engine fault will not run for more than 10s

Hello all

All had been going so well. My weaponR manifold fitted about 6 weeks ago then last week I fitted some cleaned injectors which made a good improvement. No problems all week then I went to start the car this morning and it backfired and will now only run for a few seconds. When I start the car it runs but is revving and backfiring then die after about 10 seconds.

I am currently at work after a lift but did have time to strip the injectors out before I left with no visible problems. To me it seams like there is a big air leak on the inlet side any suggestions would be helpful.

I am getting 2 codes on my scangauge 1514 and 1612. I can't find code 1612??? code 1514 looks like an air leak as map dose not match TB position.

I have a spare TB I could try but it seems to be operating normally.

p1612 usually means a circuit problem, most likely causes are the throttle body connector being unplugged whilst the battery is still plugged in

could be a faulty throttle body as it sounds like too much air is coming in
