mpg?

just wondering what sort of mpg i can expect around town and on a run.(2.2 sri newbie)

usual is between 24-26 around town and 36 to 40 on a run. If you drive with a heavy foot then you can expect less.

Sounds about right to me all the above mine mainly between 25-30 mpg

do you reset your average mpg display at the start of every trip? or you you reset it after filling up and leave it till next refill?

my 2.2 used to return 25 mpg but i thrashed it everywhere lol

TBH i only reset my computer if i go on a long trip i now don't care how much it costs to drive it's a luxary car for me drive it when i feel like it, It costs what it costs and there's nothing i can do about it??

i do around 26mpg in busy built up areas as i am ararely going over 40 mph and stop starting

does around 40 mpg on motorway

so i prob get around 420 miles on a tank if constant motorway use

hi all,
just got back from my trip to dorset had a great time,good weather and my sri went like dream.i was a bit worried as i had just bought it.returned 40mpg on a run and getting 25/27mpg round town so i cant complain.im going to ask a few things in other post`s,have a look and let me know if you can help.
