Inlet Pipe from Airbox - Throttle Body

I want to make a custom pipe from the Airbox to the TB. I've seen it on a couple of cars now and think it looks great. What I would like to know is; what do I need to do it e.g. what size pipe, rubber bends, etc, and where do you get these bits from?

ive just made my custom pipe (thanks to ffeog)i got my bits from regals autosport on ebay good company to deal with. i got 76mm 90 degree bend 76mm 45 degree bend 300mm alloy pipe with the fitting on for the crankcase breather pipe and a 76mm to 70mm reducer which when cut fits inside the 76mm 90 degree so it fits onto the throttle body the 90 degree you will have to cut down. also need to cut the alloy pipe to size and drill a hole for the air temp sensor i also made the pipe oval instead of round as looks and fits better ive put the fpr pipe to my manifold take off as when i get to fit my 2.4 manifold i will do the fpr mod hope this helps :thumbup:

I saw that pipe what ffeog made a long time ago and it was brilliant. I liked the special sandwich press that he made to make the pipe oval too.

i used 2 bits of wood with a nut and bolt at each corner :thumbup: as didnt think my mrs would like me drilling holes in our sandwich boards :lol:

with the tb od 70mm, would a 67mm id silicone pipe be too smll/tight to fit on?
