simon_thorpe Hi have just checked my car over and found a slight leak at the bottom of the waterpump where it bolts up against the chain housing. Is there a gasket between the pump and chain housing and how much of a job is it to do? does the chain need to be removed ?
vocky if it's oil then it could be the seal between the pump and block, if it's water then it's probably the internal seal either way it's probably best to replace the water pump whilst it's off
