Matt Fella as work has just had to replace a steering column on a 53 plate Corsa C. Since re-connecting the battery, the electric windows and electric mirrors don't work, and neither does the radio. Do these all need to radio to be able to function? He doesn't know how to put the code back in either. Anyone got any ideas?
goose Have you double checked the fuses as there is a small 5 amp fuse lurking in the under bonnet fuse box. Mine went when i had mine and it stopped all of these working.
Matt I'll get him to have a look when I see him next. He did mention that someone said that when you've had the battery off for a prolonged period of time, it needs time to reset the ECU? Not sure on how much of that is true though.
Matt No, he's sold the car, and it has gone since he's sold the car. He would normally just say "tuff shit, sold as seen" but it's his parents next door neighbours. I've not seen him for a couple of weeks, so I'll check to see if this is resolved.
