good news found an engine complete with everything from local scrap yard, he had the 51 plate vectra for sale as a repairable and on tuesday decided to strip it. i phoned that day fortunately and got the whole engine, alternator,coil pack,starter motor,compressor,ecu unit,power steering pump,inlet manifold, exhaust manifold,pipes,wiring loom,all sensors and switches only done 47500 miles.£450 the lot.
took engine out and new one in last night and finished off today with my gas kit on, it runs an absolute dream as quite as a mouse.

anyone needing a bottom end engine or any of what i listed i have spares know lol
only one crank shaft was damaged on head, bottom end all good compression was tested as part off my decision on what i was going too buy either a head or engine.
