Well some of you guys may have seen my previous threads about my 2.2 burning oil, well i did a consumption test and it burnt a wopping 1 and a bit litres in 500 mile.
The dealership stripped the engine and found all the pistons to be shot.
They have fitted a new head pistons and in the proccess replaced both the chain and tensioner. I have not got the car back but i presume that i will have to treat it as a new eninge.
How should i break it in?
Should i look out for anything considering the amount of work thats gone into the car?
I am so glad i got this sorted now and all done under warranty, it runs out in 5 days time
