i personally use them as well- they all use the same chipsets but are branded accordingly
i got a 200mbit homeplug back bone from my cable modem to router then split using 85mbs homeplugs around the house

as a rule u get 50% throughput 2 what is advertised
so around 30 MB [3x 10tx] for 85mb and around 90 - 120 for 200mb [100tx]
