Right, I thought it's about time I did a modification diary to show you all what I have been up to so far
So here goes, this is how my Coupe looked when I brought the car
First i removed the standard door pins and fitted some Irmscher ones
Then off with the standard grill and fitted a plain black one
Next fitted some INXX bonnet struts, these were off my Astra so are a bit rusty until I can rub them down and spray them.
The dipped and headlights were not that bright at night so i changed them for:
H7 Osram Night Breaker +90% 12v 55w bulbs
HB3/9005 Philips Premium 30% bulbs
Indicators were also changed to remove the "fried egg effect" to
581 Philips Silver Vision
Next came a TC switch and panel, i haven't wired it up in the engine bay yet :oops:
Next was the armrest fitted
Then the airbox modification with a K & N panel filter fitted
Mods still to do this month,
Spraying and fitting a coupe spoiler
Spraying and fitting a coupe front splitter
A future mod is to drop the rear end slightly, I have read that early Coupe Turbos and SE2 were 20mm lower at the rear notsure.gif
