Ok anyone interested in a Harrop I am looking at doing a group buy through Courtenays

If enough people are interested I will get all the pricing up as a lot depends on shipping costs and the number of units people want. It will be sensible :thumbup:

I imagine due to the cost of these things a deposit will be required before an order is made. Good news is they will be delivered very quickly.

People can either have a self fit of arrange for Courtenays to do the work.

it's worse when you've already done a couple of stage 2 conversions and know how easy it is to convert to sc

My problem is more with the fuel system upgrade needed (and its cost), than the SC stuff itself, these conversions are indeed easy (and with a lot more potential when you have a standalone)

Yep, but a 36 liters tank with a 400hp engine is somewhat stupid 😉
I really believe there is no way to do without the tank replacement in fact, but I don't like the available solutions and I'll deeply prefer a tank made for motorsport pumps with AN fittings (like the proalloy Audi exige) rather than the OE style pump and push-on fittings

True, but at 55l I don't think that's big enough either.

Apparently if you make a template of the cross section of available space in there, allowing you to rotate it into place you can fit 70+ litres in there, it's just a case of making one!

Not so daft I am getting about 32mpg which is better than the m62 😃

my alpha ecu won't need the fuel system upgrade as it fires the injectors in pairs (half the fuel each time) so 400 bhp is like running 200 bhp 🙂

Wrong vocky, a semi sequential setup like you and I have is almost like a full group setup on the fuel side
Btw, do not forget the OE setup is a fully sequential one, which we cannot replicate with our standalones without a cam pos sensor...

Should be some news from ProAlloy in the next couple of weeks with a couple of replacement options, thank God. I'm fed up with my car and it's current artificially low rev limit, although if I'd had more I'd have either thrown a rod like Joe or probably melted a piston or two due to the pump not coping.
