Ecu coil pack and starter motor..car wont start

My car has been looked at by an mechanic auto electrician and these are the faults he found on my car he also said the wiring is completely wrong and thats why it wont start he also said you was very lucky the car did not catch fire my car is a X reg 2.2 sri astra also the mobile auto elec and mechanic said he has worked on several of these cars and he said the wiring to the starter motor looks "butchered" in his words the starter will need to be replaced and the ignition module or coil pack has 2 live wires on it?? Also he tried 2 coil packs on it what he has and still no spark he also did a diagnosis on the ecu but he did not get anything from it

He also said that the ecu will need to be looked at or replaced as it will most likely be damaged beyond repair and he said good luck to getting it sorted as the car will need to be transported to somewhere to sort it and re program the ecu

he tried replacing the purple relays

common fault for the tech2 or obd2 interface is the engine ecu relay next to fuel pump relay or the engine fuses located in black box next to battery

cant believe how ecu's can fry by themselves, whole point of having fuses and relays

I think he had the relays and fuses out he said the ecu fuse was blown so he replaced it

Ok vocky looks like i will get another mobile mechanic auto spark to look at it

The car is sorted now a guy come out and cleaned the ignition module and bingo she fired up!

if u got it put in writing that the ecu was damaged then send it off to trading standards

disgusting, so many arseholes looking to rip ppl off
