Blow over

I'm considering getting my car blown over, can't really afford a ful respray and only realy want it doing to get a colour match on the passenger side where i had the rear quarter repaired.

Been quoted around £600 to have it done, does this sound ok? Also, my front bumper is quite heavily stone chipped, would the blow over sort this out or would it need a full re-spray?

£600 is probably a bit high, but if the work is 100% perfect then it would be ok

Desperately want it doing because the colour mismatch is really bugging me! its especially visible when my car is dirty. All the rest of the bodywork is fine since i had the paintwork restoration done, he couldn't do anything about the mismatch though. 🙁

What preperation would be involved in both a full re-spray and just a blow over?

I assume with the blow over you would just need to 'key' the paintwork but what would you use? I'd be up for prepping the car myself to get the cost down then all i would need to pay for would be the paint and labour involved with spraying.

Also, because my front bumper is quite heavily stone chipped would this need more than a blow over and if so what prep work would be needed?

I wouldnt know at this level, i would take advice from the bodyshop and agree with what needs to be done.

I would imagine sanding right back ready for the first stages to be done of painting.
