hi people as you can see this is my first post as im a newbie lol.
iv just done a engine rebuild on my vectra, new piston, new rings for the other piston, reground the valves in and new valve stem oil seals , head gasket ect.
when i stripped it down i didnt notice any coloured links on the timing chain.on a closer inspection today iv found a purple and a green link. am i right in thinking that the chain has been replaced to the newer one. also how do i go about timing the engine up.
any input would be much appreciatd
