Z22YH fuel injectors colour code

Hi guys, You may have seen from my other post about P1895 fault code that I'm having some troubles with the car running poorly.

I recently replaced the head and used the injectors that came with the head, I don't think they are the cause of the problem because the car seemed to run fine for about 30 miles before it started playing up but you never know.

Anyway, apparently there are three different injectors used on the Z22YH engine, colour coded yellow, white and green. My car originally used yellow ones and the ones I fitted were green. So my question is - What's the difference? The yellows and greens had the same part numbers printed on the body but the parts guy at VX insisted they were all different and even quoted three different prices... But he couldn't tell me what the actual difference was.

Thanks mate, I guessed as much but I'm not sure why the same car would need different size injectors. I wonder if the manufacturing process isn't up to scratch and they have to test and grade each one after they are made? That would explain why the part numbers are the same and the colour coding is a blob of paint.

I'll try my old injectors and see if that helps.
