Martyn notsure.gif what this is but when i go to set of the car whines, dunno the best way to explain this but if you close your mouth and say the word wine :shock: thats what it sounds like. is it the fuel pump? cheers lol Marty
MikeS my fuel pump buzzes quite loudly on a 1/4 tank of fuel - i can actually hear it sitting in the car at idle, spose my engine is running quiet 😛 as for whining does it do it when the the clutch is depressed ?
lockie2002 Think it is the slave cylinder on your clutch with it being hydraulic, that's just a guess though! My mates does it sometimes, don't know if it may be worth getting some new fluid into it?
Spooks Mine does it too, only for a few seconds as you pull away, does it in 1st and 2nd gear - not sure about any others!
