i had a j plate astra gsi with a tc switch, heated electric windows etc
old type red top engine and it was rapid in a straight line but awful on cornering
i raced one in my tuned veccy and kept up with it but it was shocking on bends, i nearly killed myself driving my old gsi
tc is a waste of time in these things cos all they were was another throttle body under the actual throttle body that closed when your wheels slipped
i usually go for a drive with my missus at nights around the country roads as it is the only time i dont get traffic around here, and last night was awful for kids with their cars, shamed to say it but i raced a 106 gti that got owned once i hit 3rd gear and a focus st170 that kept on trying to race me but he couldnt keep up
i got told off then by the other half so i backed off and went into oap mode
