2.4 manifold yes or no?

i know this has been asked before lots of times.had my 2.4 inlet sitting around for the last year and was gonna fit next week there seems to be a debate about if its any good or not so is it worth fitting?

Don't bother is my advice. The loss of torque is huge and not worth the hassle. Bhp gain is hit or miss really.

if you done some headwork with cams and got a decent exhaust setup then it is prob worth it as vocky has stated on numerous occasions

sdbutler had a 2.4 manifold with piper cams, piper manifold, sports cat, cat back

worth asking him his views, i know he has dropped it and put his old 2.2 manifold back on

ive got a 2.5" cat back system with a sport cat. piper manifold .comp stage 1 cams so a similar set up to sdbutler

try it, if you don't like it refit the 2.2, if you love it - job done 🙂

As my car was the Courtenay test bed for this mod, i can speak from experience that this mod is a lot of effort for very little gain. By all means try it but i'll be very suprised if you're happy with it.
