Help! new injectors old seals missing.

Just thought I'd swap out my fuel injectors for some new ones in preparation for my visit to Courtenays on Tuesday - looks easy enough on TIS. WRONG!

3 of the 4 rubber seals that seat the injector against the head are AWOL and I'm positive at least one is sitting in the bottom of the port that the injector goes in and based on that it's reasonable to assume that's where the other 2 are.

What would be best to do next? I was thinking of taking the inlet manifold off, but would like some guidance on where the seals could have got to. A picture of the inlet would be useful and I'm praying none of them could be resting on the inlet valves.

It was a good day up to about half an hour ago.....

could you not put the old injectors back in and try and pull them back out again ??

either they are in the port on top the valves or been melted onto the piston

cant see how they would drop into the inlet manifold considering the pressure but if i was you if your certain they have dropped off in the process of taking the fuel rail out then u might as well take the inlet manifold off

so 3 places really

melted and burnt out the exhaust
inlet manifold
sitting ontop of the valve

nowhere else for them to go unless they were not fitted there in the first place

Found two of the three sitting in the inlet ports, the third one is no where to be seen dunno..

happened to me once, but only on 1 injector
happened because of removing the rail and it left the seal in the hole and fell into the port.. had to take the inlet manifold off to get it out
