Well heres the better halfs new car...i'll start the list of as i'll be the one getting my hands dirty lol....

2001 Coupe Turbo in star silver 71k on the clock...a few mods already done when we bought it.

Stainless power pipe.
Polished intake pipe.
Cone filter.
Supersport Suspension kit,lowered _30mm
Angel headlamps..Fk's...not sure as there a bit odd and yellow.
Remapped to approx 240bhp...rolling road needed to prove this as it was a guy with a laptop who came out to the previous owner...
Sony headunit with usb etc..
Jbl bass tube.
toxic amp.
stainless fuse and relay cover..
stainless plug cover
..

Made a start on getting it up to scratch today...

New cambelt kit and water pump fitted.
new camcover gasket fitted,and cover painted satin black
tophat repainted.
oil and filter changed.
cambelt covers satin blacked.
polished the stainless and a tidy up under the bonnet...

A few pics...will get afew more after claying etc 2morow....

few more bits done today.....the previous owner had sprayed the centre console,gear stick surround etc,and it was a crap job,so got the boy on the case and he sepnt hours rubbing them all back down and then painted them back up...

Whilst i sorted a small oil leak at the breather pipe,,and gave the underside of the car a undersealing...also cleaned up and painted the calipers.

Might actually get around to claying it tomorow...

Looking good Daz, what did you use on the calipers and what unseal did you use?

The paint i used on the calipers is engine enamel si...and the underseal is underbody shutlz...out of agun....

Anyhow,started on cleaning the coupe 2day....gave it a good wash then clayed it,wasnt to bad in all honesty,then used a couple of megs products on it....removes the boot badges,but left the turbo one on there....gave the wheels touch up as there kebed a bit....run the cables in for the sub and amp properly as the previus owner just threw them in the car.
a few pics.. again..

Also as u can see in 2 of the pics,the car seems to be smoking a a bit on tickover,so checked the boost pipe for oil and theres a very fine mist of it in them,but not enough to say the turbo is passing oil....so need a bit of further investigation into it...

That is coming on really nice.

Isnt the smoke just condensation though on idle?

Another update..

since having the car its seems to have aslight misfire on tick over and hesitation whilst boosting....so done a few mods to the vacuum pipe system,done away with the rear BCS and vaccum box,and was still doin it...so replaced the plugs today and fitted a new front BCS and its sorted the problem....Alos fitted another backbox to it as the single pipe wernt doin it for me lol....

Need a slight readjustment as it looks on the gimp....

You seem to be stormin with the progress, The fit of the back box looks very good i bet it is pritty loud though.

Not loud at all si....Think i need to get a straight thru centre pipe to sort that out lol
