Move it or Leave it?

Should I move my Pre Cat pipe more away from my sump or leave it as it is now? I am not sure how much more it will move away but if it's going to be a problem then I will have to try. I can get a 50p bit through the gap no problem freely, I can't get a pound coin all the way through the gap though, just half way. What shall I do? I don't think it's catching when it's driving, will the heat be ok that close to my sump? Cheers

if your worried then why not get some exhaust wrap its like a bandage type thing it will stop any heat transfer an also if the two bits do rub together or bang while driving it wont be an issue

u might get a bit of noise as the engine will tilt back and fourth going through the power

u could take it off and grind a few mm off

It was not that close before I don't think. It's not giving me any problems, been out in it a few times now and it's great 🙂

if it causes a problem simply grind off some of the flange

I will do 🙂. I would hate to see what a none resonated exhaust system sounds like. Mine is louder than before with that pre cat mod lol. It sounds sporty but maybe a little loud
