2lt turbo conversion?

Is it possible to stick the engine from the calibra into the Astra? and how much work and whats needed to do the conversion?

you will need the gearbox swapping as well, but it could be done

probably easier to fit a z20let and matching f23

to fit the z20let in to ours you need a new wiring loom that goes behind the dash i have already cheacked this up. its the hardest ransplant you could do. putting the z20let in to the z22se all the other engines are fine and straight sawp not ours lol

Sounds like to much work and cost. I want a new engine as mine has 126k on clock, and i don't want to mod it and it give up on me. so now it looks like a straight swap 2.2 for a 2.2 i guess.

there has been load of high milage cars on here been modded 🙂 i just gone over 104,000 and doesnt miss a bit a lad on here could shane i think his was on 132,000 and had been modded and never broke lol if ya want a turbo m8 it be alot cheaper to buy a turbo car m8

im no fuss really m8, id rather have a low mileage 2.2 that i can mod than start spendin on mine and it go t!ts up. i had the chain done last year but now the engine is startin to get louder. Any ideas or options?

ive got 120,000 on the clock and pulling strong just look after it and service it

they are a good engine bar the chain but if they are are looked after they are bullet proof lol 🙂
