devil is anybody change it before.any good tips and ideas are very welcome,i just did my oil change for 1 mounth ago,is there any way i can change it without change the oil again,is it possible to change fast the oil level sensor with new one without lots of oil goming out,are there any pictures of this oil level sensor i wasnt able to find internet any pictures of it .... notsure.gif cheers in estonia
vocky it will be the oil seal which is leaking, the correct way would be to remove the sump, clean the hole and sensor, then use a sealant. the easy way, but not as good, is to degrease the sensor and add some sealant around it.
devil is somebody has a picture of oil level sensor is there any gasket or seal in oil level sensor then i shall think can i buy new one or using some sealant around it notsure.gif
vocky the sensor has to come out from inside the sump, there is a single O ring oil seal. The alloy sump corrodes and causes a leak simply pulling off the sump, cleaning the hole and sensor should stop the leak, unless the sensor is leaking. the sump still needs to come off to replace the sensor 🙁

vocky the electrical plug will unplug from the sensor, but the sensor is inside the sump, so is the seal the only way to correctly seal the oil leak is to remove the sump 🙁
devil today i was trying to remove electrical plug of the sensor but the plug isnt gome of,then i was going my local Opel dealer and figure it out why isnt plug come out and i they show that the electrical plug isnt gome outside from sump only inside, only way is do remove the sump and replace the sensor with electrical plug ....i damage mine electrical plug when pulling it of....i use sealant but i gues that this is only be for a few month if it start leak again cryb..
