mark_88 Hi, i think my clutch is going to need replacing soon so i was thinking of getting a lightened flywheel to get put on while the clutch is changed. I was just wondering i no the acceleration will improve etc but will the car still be as easy to drive? Its just i do alot of long distance driving and the car is superb for it, just sits at 60 and 70 easily barely touching the accelerator. Also will it make a difference to the general mpg? Just i average 36mpg with mixture of driving 😃 Thanks guys
mark_88 ooo think i might get 1 then 😃 gonna be the 1st performance modification to the car! I will eventually get round to removing the precat sometime aswell 🙂 also will the flywheel affect the car in anyway on how it drives on motorways? correct me if im wrong, just coz i thought flywheels stored energy so a heavier 1 will be easier for cruising, just i dont want 2 have to keep the accelerator floored to keep it at 70 thats all
vocky it will just seem like the throttle has instant response, you won't notice anything cruising on a motorway
mark_88 ooo deffo 1 going on the shopping list then hopefully it will make a gd difference below 3000rpm 😃 think itll be a courtnays 1 ill get  cheers vocky!
MikeS big job to replace as well i bust my ball sack near enough taking a flywheel off an engine with it out of the car u need a serious heavy duty breaker bar
