had a car in for an mot today...our mot chap failed it on lack of brake performance and a very sloppy pedal....on further investigation this is what we found....
In the last pic the line going across the pic is the disc....it was no more than 1.5mm thick.......
In the 20 years or more that ive been a mechanic that was the worst disc i have seen on car.....the lady who owned it didnt realise something was wrong...it was making a hell of noise....and worst of all had 3 kids all under 4 in the car with her...
