braders As above whats the difference in a z22se short engine and the engine fond in my 51 plate astra coupe? I want t replace the carnk so will this ft in mine. Cheers
markoneswift A 'short' engine is a block / crank / piston assembly minus the head and ancilliaries ( usually ). I think it will be basically the same motor as you already have - there are such things as short-stroke cranks but that's different.
vocky it's unusual for the z22se crank to need replacing, typically the conrod bigends go oval when the engine is run low on oil
