Wish I'd read this thread a couple of weeks ago. Had a new timing chain fitted and straight away after the engine started squealing. A few days later the engine was dead. Seized cams. Poor Vectra is sitting on the drive ready to go to eBay heaven after spending £600 on it two weeks ago and now I'm driving round in a slow Golf.
