The only way I can describe how the car performs now is smoother on acceleration :eh:

Maybe I was expecting too much or maybe the ecu is still adjusting (20 miles on board) but I have yet to see what all the hype is about on these puppies yet :lol: :lol: Maybe when I fit the dbilas exhaust manifold thats staring at me for the last 2 months I might get some better feedback notsure.gif

give the car time to settle down about 100 miles then it will be better

it will give you a bit but not much.. i wouldn't bother again 😛 id just fit a SC straight away 😃

Yeah gonna fit the manifold and reset the ecu again and drive to college on monday with it... thats a 130mile round trip so by the time I'm coming back it should show its true colours :thumbup:

Which CAMs did you go for? have you found that you have a very lumpy idle now?

Piper re-grinds... Lumpy idle when car settles but not the worst I ever came across. 🙂

Took the car for a good spankin today on a few backroads and it actually does feel better from 3rd onwards the low down torque is poor I think but that could be the 2.4 manifold or as I'm thinkin now... maybe its overfuelling down low because of the regulator vacumn just left to atmosphere?? Gonna fit a vac pipe back to the intake tommorrow and see how she dances then :thumbup:

Car well run in now, fitted the dbilas exhaust manifold and the car is pulling very well from 3k onwards... VERY well 😃

But I still think with the fuel regulator to atmosphere is making the car overfuel down low so I'm gonna fit the vacumn pipe back to the intake pipe to see if it can help. The cams turned out to be a good mod :clap:

your car is mapped for variable fuel pressure

leaving it at static fuel pressure might help increase acceleration from idle but you will loose the pickup around 4k

the more i read into this and experimenting i believe the best fpr setup is standard unless u wanna go down the custom map route

btw i am waiting for my piper regrinds but they shall be waiting until i come back from holiday !

Get the standard inlet manifold back on. The 2.4 inlet is useless. I lost loads of torque after this was fitted and gained nothing in bhp.
