I broke the rubber seal in my calipers!!!! help please

hi i need to know if its at all possible to repair the rubber seal next to the cylinder in the caliper. i accidently split it whilst i was cleaning it with my wire bruch wizzer, getting it ready for painting

think you will have to replace that mate, they dont cost much, you will have to strip the caliper down

if it's the dust seal then use some super glue, if it's the seal inside the caliper then you will need a new seal.

right its the round folded seal that surrounds the piston, so it can be replaced and i won't have to get a new caliper?
i just put the pic on so you guys can see what i'm on about

thats the dust seal, looks like it needs replacing, just buy a new dust seal from the dealers

right ok thanks vocky, so pissed off with myself once i realised i done it! just got a bit carried aways with the wizzer! so next question how do i fix that once i get the seal? and any ideas how much it'll be from the dealers?

Thought i'd show you the other 3 . there not finished yet gonna stick another coat on and i got some white vauxhall descals to put on them, reckon they'll look good once there on

thanks boys i'll stick the pics up once there finished gonna get it done tomorrow, fingers crossed! all depends on the hangover lol. got the paint from halfords think it cost around £12 for a tin the size of a sweetcorn tin. but i done them 3 there and still got over half a tin thats with 2 coats on already. you only need to paint the parts that are on show really no point painting the entire thing.

ha thought i'd go put the last lick of paint on then doesn't take long to paint but they need 24 hours to dry now.
Obviously i bought spares from the scrap yard so that my car wasn't off the road, and with the amount of paint left i'm thinking i'm gonna clean up the ones on the car now, so if anyone is interested in buying them i will stick them on ebay once they are done. just send me your email address and when i stick them on ebay i will email you the item number. be aware though when i bought the spares it cost me £20 a corner plus VAT which came to £92, thats just for the spares. And they were dirty as anything. not anymore though cause a hell of alot of work has gone into them.

the dust seals are about a tenner each

right well here are the finished 3 just need to get the dust seal for the last 1 get it fixed and get them put on. as i said if anyone is interested in buying a set that will look just like these let me know
