teddyt hi guys got a veccy 2.2 cd that when i give it some welly it smokes at around 6000rpm if I lift off and then flor it again it does not smoke???? only first time I go into that rpm range other than that no problems any ideas
Sjdickso How much oil is it burning? How many miles has the car done? TBH most 2.2's i have seen when on a rolling road smoke a bit at the higher end of the rev range.
teddyt mmm.. done 75000 bit of a cloud then settles down could it be blocked dirty airways or throttle body only had car 2 weeks, and i think its never been driven hard
Sjdickso Keep an eye on your oil consumption. May be worth giving the TB a good clean out as it may never have been done. Piston rings may be wearing.
