A Small Oil Leak by Oil Filter

I have a very small oil leak close to the oil filter, i wiped the area a couple of weeks ago and now it's come back, i can only assume that the seal on the oil filter cap has broken down but i can't see an evidence of the oil coming from that place. Has anyone seen this before or got another ideas as too where it could come from?

might be worth fitting a new oil filter cap or oil seal, the complete cap isn't too expensive

Will i have to drain the oil first or can i just un screw the cap and replace it with a new one?

Just unscrew the cap you will be fine.

and you don;t need to replace the oil filter either, just replace the oil seal
