Roose Motorsport - Z22SE Silicone Hose Kit

Hi everyone!

I've been working with Roose Motorsport recently to develop silicone hose kits. I'm interested in making a kit for the Z22SE Vectra B's. Would there be any interest in this kit?

All I'd need to start with would be a set of original hoses (new or used, doesn't matter). A discounted kit is available for anyone who can provide an original set.

Hoses would be available in: Red; Yellow; Blue; Black; White; Metallic Silver and Metallic Gold.

Even if I can get the odd original hose from a couple of people, then I'll do a deal for everyone involved. They're brilliant hoses though, the V6 ones are a work of art 🙂

well the only time i could do it for mine is for a period of 11 days while im away and i dont think it would be long enough

It might take a little bit longer than 11 days. I'd hate to not get them back to you in time.

Does anyone have an engine they're breaking which has all the hoses?

I'd be interested in a set for the Astra if you can sort one out. How much would they cost?

Can't really give a price until I see how many hoses there is, size of hoses etc. Can see it being a little less than the Vectra kits.

That looks awesome, want them in blue!! Also need about 2 metres of 15 mm hose for my catch tank, got some but its too soft and wont take the bends without flattening out, is it possible to get it in reinforced?

How long do you think you would need the hoses for to pattern them up?

I think 2wks would be sufficient. Not something you want to rush, as you want each bend in each hose perfect. I'd need every hose though, just so a complete kit could be offered (coolant/breather etc, not fuel).

Superflex hose is reinforced so it can be bent without kinking (so should prevent the problem you've had). However, might be worth in getting some oil resistant hose which would absorb (over time) the oil mist. Both options would be similarly priced, but I'd recommend the oil resistant for the job.

I could probably cope with having my car off the road for a couple of weeks, would mean me using the other halfs clio so any longer then that might be a problem. Be worth while if the discount was reasonable 😉 😃

I can pay you for the hoses too (and do you a discounted set). It'll need to be every hose in the engine bay: oil; breather; coolant etc.
