Stumped as to whats just happened (Sunday Night), i was giving the car its weekly rev range challenge and noticed a lack of performance, heard a bit of a noise so slowed right down.
Down the window goes and under any sort of real load the car struggles and sounds like a diesel, i get home and on idle its rough as well.
Monday i check the oil levels and they are none exsistant so i manage to get 4 ltrs in and the rattling stops all good i thought
Except when i get to 3krpm and through to about 4krpm the rattle re appears and the car holds back.
Ive been qouted £800 odd becuase ive knackered the engine apperently, can anyone help as to what it may be? As the garages around here (Cannock) just want silly money and i personally dont think they know what has happened.
It may also be worth noting the car looses coolant too however no other signs of headgasket issues, the engine number is not in the registered list thankfully.
